All students that participate in Limestone’s Global Experience programs are representatives of Limestone and their country for the duration of their time in the program.  While participating on a Global Experience, students are subject to the same standards of conduct and academic regulations stipulated in the student handbook.  Limestone expects all students participating in a Global Experience to conduct themselves as ambassadors of the university and the United States.  Students are also expected to abide by the laws of the host country.  Behavior that is disruptive or presents an unfavorable impression of Limestone will be addressed as follows:

Any student that engages in disrespectful, hostile, or violent behavior that threatens one’s self, another person, or the program will be subject to immediate disciplinary action and may be dismissed from the program and sent home at his/her expense, with no refund.

The following issues are considered serious enough to warrant an immediate “F” for the course and return to the United States at the student's expense:

  • Physical abuse/assault, self-endangerment, verbal threats, intimidation, harassment or coercion
  • Theft, vandalism, or any criminal behavior
  • Failure to comply with the proper and lawful directions of university officials
  • Purchase, sale, possession, or consumption of Illegal or non-prescribed drugs
  • Abuse of alcohol and/or drugs
  • Continued failure to meet program commitments (arriving/returning late, missing busses/trains/planes) or traveling to prohibited areas.
  • Sexual harassment or misconduct
