Limestone's Global Experience -

A World of Possibilities Exist at Limestone!

At Limestone University, we believe that learning about and experiencing other cultures can be integral parts of any student’s education. While other institutions might offer a small number of students the opportunity to study abroad, as part of their education at Limestone University, we offer any of our undergraduate on-campus program students who wish to participate with the opportunity to go on one short-term Global Experience trip covered by their tuition. Each Global Experience destination is designed with a specific academic focus and taught and chaperoned by Limestone professors. Flights, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and travel healthcare insurance are covered by the University.

Each trip generally last between eight to 12 days and each has a specific theme. For example, it could be Economics in Greece, Shakespeare in London, or Art in Italy – just to name a few. Because some students may be on an athletic team, Limestone also offers trips in both the fall and spring semesters – so don't worry if you are a student-athlete in season. Another great part of the Global Experience program is that each student is able to select the trip they want to attend – either because they are interested in the location, the topic, the timing, or all three. The choice is yours! Our goal is that any Limestone student has the opportunity to take advantage of this unique experience.
